What the Disney Princess Would Wear Today

Disney princesses are a classic memory from just about any girl's childhood. Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Aurora... Just a few of the names of the cartoons we used to admire. But what would they wear if they were real today? Here are what they're styles would be like and what they might wear daily. Don't worry, it looks nothing like a poofy ball gown or a fishtail.

"Ivory Mesh Flower Headband"
$9.50 delias.com
1. Cindella's ruffled blue dress resembles a peplum skirt or top. The white fabric underneath could go as a pencil skirt, and add a flower or plain headband. And don't forget about the famous glass slippers! Which now are "glass" heels.
"Transparent Pump"
by Marc Jacobs.

"Ana Peplum Top"
Shown in "Bluebird"
$19.50 or 2 for $25 delias.com
"Millennium Stretch Pencil Skirt"

2. Ariel's bubbly personailty and style includes lots of brights. For her seashell bra, a purple bandeau is put in place, also combined with a tank top over it. Instead of her teal tail, there's teal jeans. And she seems to be on the beach a lot so of course flip flops.                                                                                            .

3. Pocahontas has a laid back look with includes lots of fringe, beige, and a pop of color in the jewelry. I picked a nude colored high-low dress, a blue pedant, and fringed boots for the beautiful Native American Disney princess.

The Peter Pan Collar

The cute, preppy, collared shirts inspired by Peter Pan, has made a trend that has spread like wildfire. The "Elanor shirt" is usually worn with a French braid, or a cute updo to show off the back. And the buttons down the front or back are so cute! Cute colors, lace, and patterns make the shirt extra fashionable and preppy. It can be sort of like a tank top, short sleeved, any length really, and also a dress!

Delia's "Raceback Tank Top" Review

I love these tank tops so much! Not only are they soft and comfortable, but a fashion statement too.   And it's only $25.00 for two! Patterned or plain? Bright or dull? Leopard print or floral? Whatever tank top you're looking for, Delia's has it.

Some ideas of what to pair it with...
•A sheer shirt that matches the color palette
•Colored shorts
•A lace shirt
•A cardigan
"Zoey Cheetah Print Racerback Tank"
$19.50 or 2 for $25
Lace shirt with "Zoey Rainbow Zebra Tank"
$19.50 or 2 for $25
"Zoey Fresco Burnout Print Racerback Tank"
$19.50 or 2 for $25

An idea of what kind of shorts to wear with the tank top.
"Fallon" abercrombiekids.com $39.50

They're a bit sheer so I recommend wearing a cami underneath. Personally this racerback is kinda long on me so I like to tie it back with a ponytail holder. I've been busy so I haven't had that much time to blog, but I'll start posting more. :)

DON'T
-Get one too big for you, even a little bit.
-Pile on jewelry and scraves.
-Wear with boots or clogs.
-Be too busy and loud with outer pieces. :)

The romper is definetly very busy and (usually) colorful, so keep everything elese on you netrual.
