5 Amazing Lip Softening Products

Winter is right around the corner-which means dry skin, dry lips, dry everything. Even if you live in a place that doesn't really have winter, your lips probably still get pretty chapped. My lips would be so chapped, they would bleed- ugh. And then there is the urge to pick at your lips and to peel off the dry skin. But luckily many brands make lots of lip softening products and here are my top five.

The Peter Pan Collar

The cute, preppy, collared shirts inspired by Peter Pan, has made a trend that has spread like wildfire. The "Elanor shirt" is usually worn with a French braid, or a cute updo to show off the back. And the buttons down the front or back are so cute! Cute colors, lace, and patterns make the shirt extra fashionable and preppy. It can be sort of like a tank top, short sleeved, any length really, and also a dress!

My Daily Makeup Tutorial

My daily makeup is very easy to do and is very simple and complements your features. Here's how to do:

1. Powder your face lightly, make sure it doesn't look to cakey.

2. Curl your eyelshes.

3. Apply a few coats of mascra.

4.Add the same color eyeshadow of your eyes. (ex:// green eyes, green eyeshadow.) This brings out the color of your eyes.

5. Dust your cheeks with a little bronzer. This will make you look a little tanner without looking fake.

6. If not bronzer, use a pink blush to make rosy cheeks.

Sweet Sophisticate: Get the Look!

To look sweet and sophisticated, I like to have a one-three color shirt, overlay a black blazer on top, and wear a mini skirt or dark wash jeans, depending on the season. For makeup, I just do my daily routine, but add a rose blush instead of bronzer and some soft pink lip gloss or lipstick. It's a great look for going out, if you need to look business formal in a way, (not actually for that, I don't work yet :) or just for school/everday. It has a soft and sweet vibe while at the same time looks ready to go.

"Silver Tone Necklace & Hoop Drop Earring Set" $14.00 kohls.com
"Polka Dot Top" $9.80 forever21.com (not on the website yet)
"Knit Blazer" $20.00-$39.50 availble in warehouse stoes. ex://Nordstorm

Delia's "Raceback Tank Top" Review

I love these tank tops so much! Not only are they soft and comfortable, but a fashion statement too.   And it's only $25.00 for two! Patterned or plain? Bright or dull? Leopard print or floral? Whatever tank top you're looking for, Delia's has it.

Some ideas of what to pair it with...
•A sheer shirt that matches the color palette
•Colored shorts
•A lace shirt
•A cardigan
"Zoey Cheetah Print Racerback Tank"
$19.50 or 2 for $25
Lace shirt with "Zoey Rainbow Zebra Tank"
$19.50 or 2 for $25
"Zoey Fresco Burnout Print Racerback Tank"
$19.50 or 2 for $25

An idea of what kind of shorts to wear with the tank top.
"Fallon" abercrombiekids.com $39.50

They're a bit sheer so I recommend wearing a cami underneath. Personally this racerback is kinda long on me so I like to tie it back with a ponytail holder. I've been busy so I haven't had that much time to blog, but I'll start posting more. :)
